Job Overview

Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a pivotal role in assisting the Professional Resources department with all facets of entry-level and lateral associate recruitment. This position also contributes to various elements of the summer program and on-campus recruitment efforts. The coordinator will engage with partners, associates, and other members of the Professional Resources team, as well as departments such as payroll, benefits, and IT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Talent Officer, Recruitment Manager, and Hiring Partners on entry-level recruitment and summer program organization.
  • Engage directly with partners and firm leadership regarding the hiring of entry-level and lateral associates.
  • Coordinate logistics and participate in on-campus recruitment events, including receptions and outreach activities at law schools.
  • Plan and oversee summer events, including the firmwide summer associate retreat, while managing the summer program calendar.
  • Facilitate orientation for summer associates, ensuring all pre-arrival documentation is completed.
  • Monitor and manage summer associate projects and assignments.
  • Maintain comprehensive applicant records in the recruitment system for lateral, summer, and new associate hires.
  • Prepare and send necessary correspondence to candidates about their employment status.
  • Organize interview schedules and compile materials for candidate interviews.
  • Assist with the hiring of lateral associates, including tracking candidates and liaising with search agencies.
  • Support various departmental initiatives, including Professional Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Alumni Relations, and Conference Services.

  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
