Key Responsibilities

  • Source and engage candidates through job boards, professional networks, and referrals to build a strong pipeline of qualified insurance professionals.
  • Assess and interview candidates to evaluate their qualifications and cultural fit, ensuring alignment with our company values.
  • Maintain a robust applicant tracking system to manage and track candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Build relationships with educational institutions and industry networks to attract top talent and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Collaborate with hiring teams to coordinate interviews and make informed hiring decisions that drive business success.
  • Negotiate offers and guide candidates through the hiring process, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Represent New York Life at industry events and conferences to promote our brand and attract top talent.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of best practices in recruiting, sourcing, and evaluation, with a focus on insurance roles and industry requirements.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to align recruitment strategies with business needs.
  • Proficient in analyzing recruitment data and using applicant tracking systems and other tools to drive business results.
  • Understanding of legal requirements and data privacy laws, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
