Director of Operations

Levy is seeking a highly experienced Director of Operations to lead our team at the location, ensuring high standards of the guest experience, safety, and financial performance.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will be a seasoned food and beverage leader with a passion for hospitality, food, and retail. They will be responsible for coaching and motivating team members, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving operational performance and execution.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively coach and motivate team members to deliver exceptional results
- Identify opportunities for improvement and drive continual growth in location operations
- Build strong partnerships with location partners and stakeholders
- Work with regional and Home Office leadership to drive innovation and best practices
- Deliver against financial goals and budgets
- Coach the operations management team
- Represent Levy and our business objectives at partner meetings and networking events
- Oversee and ensure the highest standards of safety and sanitation
- Review financial reports and develop action plans to achieve business goals
- Lead the development of the location's food story and guest experience
- Complete team member performance reviews and career development planning
- Respond to emails and phone calls, and perform associated administrative tasks
- Review and process expense reports
- Interview applicants and conduct hiring decisions
- Collaborate with culinary leadership to drive menu development and operational enhancements
- Oversee season planning and ensure alignment with Levy and partner expectations
- Coach team members for optimal performance and engagement
- Conduct manager meetings and event walks
- Identify and plan for management support needs
- Manage the team recognition program 'Levy Legends'
- Conduct building safety walks and ensure a high level of safety and cleanliness
- Complete corrective action and hold team members accountable
- Develop the next generation of leaders
- Closing and signoff payroll
- Ensure all financial reporting is completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Drive shrinkage prevention efforts
- Lead continual operational improvement planning
- Participate in Governance Meeting presentations
- Plan budget and P&L management
- Engagement planning with the leadership team
- Act as the figurehead for Levy's Work of Change initiative
- 5+ years of leadership experience in Hospitality or Retail
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management preferred
- High level of computer literacy
- Understanding of financial concepts
- Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
