Your Management Opportunity

The wireless sector is thriving, making this an ideal moment to engage in this rapidly evolving industry. GoWireless is in search of a management-level retail professional to spearhead sales of wireless products, services, and applications. The successful candidate will oversee staffing, sales, and inventory operations in the designated region.

Position Summary: The Senior Retail Operations Manager (SROM) is accountable for the operational activities of the store. The SROM will guarantee exceptional customer service while complying with GoWireless policies and procedures. This role assists the Store Manager and District Manager in achieving store objectives and serves as a preparatory role for the Store Manager position. The SROM reports directly to the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales of products and services to both new and existing customers.
  • Meet and exceed Senior ASM Sales metrics.
  • Adhere to all sales processes and procedures as dictated by the region and corporate guidelines.
  • Execute promotional activities and achieve or surpass established sales targets.
  • Address customer service concerns effectively.
  • Monitor store inventory to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Uphold store standards and presentation as set by the Store Manager and District Manager.
  • Provide requested data to the Store Manager/District Manager and complete weekly reports as necessary.
  • Flexibility to work in various store locations as required.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Engage in cold calling and support sales cross-promotions.
  • Work independently in a retail environment.
  • Manage cash handling and cash management processes.
  • Develop leadership skills within your sales team.
  • Supervise a single store location.
  • Assist with timesheets and payroll for store personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager and District Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Two (2) years of relevant experience may substitute for one (1) year of academic requirement.
  • Experience in supervising, managing, and training employees.
  • Strong sales acumen and ability to ensure customer satisfaction while managing retail operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record.
  • Professional appearance and availability to work early evenings and weekends.
  • Willingness to attend New Hire Orientation (a one-week training within the first 30 days of employment).
  • Punctuality and reliability in all work-related activities.
  • Coachable and eager to apply learned techniques and knowledge.
  • Commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Stay informed on company communications, promotions, and products.
  • Willingness to prospect customers through warm calls.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to industry and company changes.
  • Maintain minimum sales goals and expectations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, and pulling.
