Senior Construction Inspector

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Construction Inspector to join our team in the East Gulf Region, located in Mobile and Gulf Shores, AL. As a Senior Construction Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with contract documents, standards, and specifications. You will also be responsible for testing materials, reviewing plans, analyzing engineering-related data, and performing construction surveys/layout. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring contractor's daily operations, performing and/or reviewing test reports, and documenting pay records.

Key Responsibilities:

* Inspection for compliance with contract documents, standards, and specifications
* Testing of materials; review of plans; analysis of engineering-related data; and construction survey/layout
* Monitoring contractor's daily operations and performing and/or reviewing test reports
* Documenting pay records, performing construction calculation, and computer/iPad entry

Requirements:

* Ability to obtain ALDOT certifications
* Possess a valid driver's license and good driving record
* Ability to pass a drug test
* Must be able to perform moderate physical activity including but not limited to walking, climbing, balancing, kneeling, and standing
* Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
* Must be able to work nights and weekends as required
