Compensation: Starting pay is $21.16 per hour.

ROLE SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the HR Director, the HR Administrative Coordinator will assist the Human Resources Department by performing a variety of administrative functions essential for the smooth operation of HR activities.

PRIMARY DUTIES
  1. Maintain HR files, including organization, auditing, archiving, and general upkeep.
  2. Conduct data entry and administrative updates in HR information systems and other relevant platforms.
  3. Facilitate employment verification processes.
  4. Support the onboarding process, including the preparation of electronic files, dissemination of policies, and creation of necessary documentation.
  5. Manage badge administration tasks.
  6. Assist with compliance audits.
  7. Support fingerprint file management and maintenance.
  8. Generate, track, and maintain various reports, including driving checks, licensure, mandatory training, and performance evaluations.
  9. Prepare department expense coding sheets for review.
  10. Act as a designated assistant to the HR Onboarding Lead.
  11. Ensure I-9 compliance and verification.
  12. Assist with sorting and scanning HR mail.
  13. Provide support for employee relations as needed.
  14. May assist with recruitment and job posting initiatives.
  15. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
EXPERIENCE
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role; HR internship may be considered as relevant experience.
  • Basic understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience with file management.
  • Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS) is preferred.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant office software.
  • High level of accuracy and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
