Job Overview

Compliance Specialist

The Compliance Specialist is tasked with ensuring the effective placement of qualified healthcare professionals while adhering to Triage standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for healthcare professionals and Triage clients regarding compliance needs, including federal and state employment regulations and medical documentation.
  • Examine and validate documentation from healthcare professionals for precision and thoroughness in line with Triage standards.
  • Facilitate proactive communication and collaboration across departments, particularly with Sales and Recruiting, to guarantee timely onboarding of healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with other compliance teams to meet client specifications and timelines for new placements.
  • Engage with the Sales department to enhance relationships with Triage clients.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and background check specialists to finalize all necessary background checks, examinations, medical testing, and documentation.
  • Ensure all assigned healthcare professional files are cleared promptly.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with Triage clients regarding all scheduled and active healthcare professionals to uphold compliance standards.
  • Oversee accurate record management, data entry, and various administrative tasks as required.
  • Assist in the consistent maintenance of up-to-date compliance requirements and documentation within relevant software systems, including Vendor Management Systems (VMS).
  • Deliver exceptional service to Triage clients while adhering to the organization's ethical standards.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Possess high interpersonal skills to manage sensitive and confidential matters with poise and discretion.
  • Exhibit a strong sense of urgency, prioritization, and time management skills to independently meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication abilities.
  • Adept at analyzing and resolving work-related issues with sound judgment.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Associate's degree or relevant professional experience is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Leadership, Organization & Communication Skills

  • Requires continuous coordination and communication between departments for effective service delivery.
  • Represent Triage and its core values professionally.
  • Skilled communicator with a focus on relationship development.
  • Ability to articulate thoughts, opinions, and inquiries professionally.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Work Schedule

  • This position is hourly, with an 8-hour workday constituting a 40-hour work week.
  • Additional hours may be required to fulfill job responsibilities.
