Compliance Specialist
The Compliance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective placement of qualified healthcare professionals by adhering to the standards set forth by Triage, our clients, and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for healthcare professionals and Triage clients regarding compliance obligations, including federal and state employment regulations and necessary medical documentation.
- Examine and validate documentation submitted by healthcare professionals for precision and thoroughness in alignment with Triage, client, and regulatory standards.
- Engage in proactive communication and collaboration across departments, particularly with Sales and Recruiting, to facilitate timely onboarding of healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate closely with other compliance teams to ensure that client specifications and timelines are consistently met for each new placement.
- Work in partnership with the Sales department to enhance relationships with Triage clients.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and background verification specialists to complete essential background checks, medical evaluations, and documentation.
- Ensure all assigned healthcare professional files are cleared promptly.
- Maintain ongoing communication with Triage clients regarding all scheduled and active healthcare professionals to uphold compliance standards.
- Responsible for precise and efficient record management, data entry, and various administrative tasks as required.
- Assist in the accurate and consistent maintenance of up-to-date compliance requirements and documentation within relevant software systems, including Vendor Management Systems (VMS).
- Deliver exceptional service to Triage clients while adhering to the organization's ethical standards.
Qualifications
Essential Skills & Competencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions consistently.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills to manage sensitive and confidential matters with poise and discretion.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, prioritization, and time management to meet deadlines independently.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills.
- Adept at analyzing and resolving work-related issues using sound judgment.
Education & Experience Requirements
- An Associate's degree or relevant professional experience is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Leadership, Organization & Communication Skills
- Requires ongoing coordination and communication across departments for effective service delivery.
- Professional representation of Triage and its core values is essential.
- Effective communicator with a commitment to building strong relationships.
- Ability to articulate thoughts, opinions, and suggestions in a professional manner.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Work Schedule
- This position is hourly, consisting of an 8-hour workday within a 40-hour work week.
- Additional hours may be required to fulfill job responsibilities.
