Job Overview

Compliance Specialist

The Compliance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective placement of qualified healthcare professionals by adhering to Triage's standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for healthcare professionals and Triage clients regarding compliance obligations, including federal and state employment regulations and medical documentation.
  • Examine and validate documentation from healthcare providers for precision and thoroughness in alignment with Triage's policies and regulatory standards.
  • Facilitate proactive communication and collaboration across departments, particularly with Sales and Recruiting, to ensure timely onboarding of healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with various compliance teams to meet client specifications and timelines for each new placement.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to enhance relationships with Triage clients.
  • Engage with third-party vendors and background verification specialists to conduct necessary background checks, medical evaluations, and documentation processes.
  • Ensure timely clearance of all assigned healthcare provider files.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with Triage clients regarding all scheduled and active healthcare providers to uphold compliance standards.
  • Oversee accurate record management, data entry, and various administrative tasks as required.
  • Assist in the meticulous maintenance of up-to-date compliance requirements and documentation within relevant software systems, including Vendor Management Systems (VMS).
  • Deliver exceptional service to Triage clients while adhering to the organization's ethical standards.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to follow instructions consistently.
  • Demonstrate high interpersonal skills to manage sensitive and confidential matters with poise and professionalism.
  • Exhibit a strong sense of urgency, effective prioritization, and time management skills to independently meet deadlines.
  • Possess excellent communication abilities.
  • Adept at analyzing and resolving work-related issues using sound judgment.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • An Associate's degree or relevant professional experience is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Leadership, Organization & Communication Skills

  • Requires continuous coordination and communication across departments to enhance service quality.
  • Professional representation of Triage and its core values is essential.
  • Effective communicator with a commitment to building strong relationships.
  • Ability to articulate thoughts, opinions, and suggestions in a professional manner.

Work Schedule

  • This position is hourly, consisting of an 8-hour workday for a 40-hour work week.
  • Additional hours may be required to fulfill job responsibilities.
