We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an Inside Territory Sales Manager. This role is essential in driving sales growth and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Account Management: Develop and nurture a portfolio of approximately 50 Inside Sales Key Accounts, ensuring their growth and profitability.
- Sales Development: Transition accounts to Outside Territory Sales Managers when appropriate, while replenishing the account list from the regional House Account inventory.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Area Sales Manager to evaluate account readiness for transition and facilitate the transfer process.
- Revenue Growth: Focus on maintaining and enhancing sales revenue and gross margin through strategic initiatives.
- Dealer Recruitment: Identify and onboard new dealers, providing them with the necessary training and support to succeed.
- Proposal Development: Create compelling proposals for potential customers to drive sales opportunities.
- Customer Relations: Maintain proactive communication with decision-makers and support personnel to foster strong customer relationships.
- CRM Management: Keep customer and sales data updated in the CRM system to ensure accurate reporting and analysis.
- Market Intelligence: Gather and share local market insights with the Sales Manager to inform strategic decisions.
- Business Planning: Collaborate with management to develop an annual business plan focused on achieving sales targets.
- Sales Activities: Manage all sales processes from lead generation to closing within the assigned territory.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in the HVAC industry.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical abilities to forecast sales trends and outcomes.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Self-discipline and the capability to manage a territory from a home-office setting.
- A willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
