Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while assisting clients in choosing the most suitable products for their requirements.
  • Act as a representative of the organization in interactions with customers, industry associations, and various government entities.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to establish sales goals for the designated market and propose pricing strategies and promotional initiatives for key clients; introduce both new and existing clients to innovative product offerings to enhance market share and profitability.
  • Accountable for identifying, engaging with, and monitoring projects from initial development stages through to completion.
  • Negotiate pricing with clients while fostering strong relationships.
  • Keep track of and report on market trends within the area of responsibility and their potential impacts on the organization.
  • Maintain regular communication with operations, quality assurance, and dispatch teams regarding customer requirements.
  • Effectively oversee projects of varying scales and complexities, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Work alongside the credit department to address significant issues or credit concerns with overdue accounts.
  • Show a commitment to communicating, enhancing, and adhering to safety protocols in all work settings.
  • Undertake additional duties or special projects as directed by management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a construction-related field, sales/marketing, or a comparable discipline, along with a minimum of three years of experience in the ready-mix concrete sector preferred.
  • Strong and effective communication skills, coupled with robust analytical abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including both written and verbal communication.
  • Capability to provide direct and actionable feedback.
  • Self-driven with the ability to operate with minimal supervision in a collaborative environment.
  • Willingness to reside within the designated area of responsibility.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Google G Suite and MS Office.
