Key Responsibilities
The Cage Cashier is tasked with managing the redemption of slot tickets and vouchers, processing chip redemptions, and facilitating check cashing and cash advance transactions for guests. Your role is vital in maintaining a positive atmosphere for our patrons.

  • Accurately process customer transactions, providing correct change and addressing inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintain accountability for assigned funds, ensuring accurate counting and recording throughout your shift.
  • Keep the cash drawer balanced and perform necessary exchanges with the vault.
  • Verify and document personal identification for check and cash advance transactions.
  • Complete necessary forms such as CTRs, W2Gs, and MTLs.
  • Foster positive customer relations while ensuring the safety and security of both employees and guests.
  • Assist as a Main Banker when required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Performance Standards
Maintain a professional working relationship with all personnel and demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
  • Prior experience in cashiering or banking is highly desirable.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.

Physical Requirements
The physical demands of this position require the employee to frequently sit or stand, walk, and use hands to handle objects. The role may involve lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. The work environment is typically moderate to loud, requiring active observation of players and gaming machines.
