POSITION OVERVIEW

The Clinical Solutions Associate II is responsible for providing effective administrative support to the Director of Clinical Services (DCS) and the Network Manager (NWM) in managing contracts. This role involves ensuring that all customer deliverables are tracked and submitted within established timelines, facilitating communication among patient management teams, and offering comprehensive support to both the DCS and NWM to develop proactive management strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services to oversee the creation of new contracts, including participation in clinical discussions, documentation tracking, and budget development.
  • Facilitate and document outcomes of patient-related meetings as requested by the Director of Clinical Services.
  • Investigate and record patient-related costs and provider rates to inform budget planning and management, utilizing electronic resources and CPT codes.
  • Ensure efficient administrative handling of all assigned Paradigm cases, including the management of patient reimbursement requests and related documentation.
  • Monitor all customer deliverables to guarantee timely submissions that align with company performance standards, initiating corrective action plans for any delays.
  • Guide the administrative team in accurately entering patient demographic information into the electronic data collection system.
  • Engage in the report review process as dictated by established workflow protocols.
  • Act as the primary administrative liaison for case-specific Network Managers, providing guidance on deliverable timelines, budget management, and addressing inquiries from Network Managers, patients, or providers.
  • Coordinate with assigned administrative Network Business contacts to educate them on Paradigm processes, product updates, and performance issues.
  • Work collaboratively with other internal departments (Contracting, Bill Review, Accounting) to resolve patient and provider-related issues.
  • Contribute to the development of procedures and workflows for the Clinical Solutions Associate team and the broader Clinical Operations team.
  • Participate in company initiatives requiring representation from the Clinical Solutions Associate II role, as directed by management.
  • Ensure equitable distribution of case loads among all Clinical Solutions Associate II positions.
  • Engage in the establishment and adoption of best practices within the Clinical Solutions Associate team.
  • Provide backup support for team members as needed, as requested by management.
  • Adhere to Paradigm's IT security policies and requirements.
  • Safeguard Paradigm-related IT credentials and report any security incidents in accordance with established policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of three to five years of progressively responsible customer service experience, with at least three years in provider relations or healthcare. A strong medical background is essential, including a comprehensive understanding of medical terminology and healthcare principles. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in various computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Language Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional phone demeanor. Ability to read and understand instructions, correspondence, and medical reports. Proficient in writing correspondence and utilizing email effectively. Capable of presenting information in individual and small group settings.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions and manage both abstract and concrete variables. Demonstrated capacity to analyze complex situations and make sound decisions.
