POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in assisting Management to foster a customer-centric and product-oriented sales environment, where our core values and guiding principles are integral to all store operations. This includes ensuring an exceptional customer experience and optimizing profitability. We take pride in our work and believe that our teams make this an extraordinary place to work, learn, and develop.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Results Orientation

Achieves company sales targets by employing effective sales strategies and sharing product knowledge with customers; suggests merchandise options or assists in locating or obtaining products based on customer preferences.

Stays informed about current promotions and sales; upholds pricing and visual presentation standards.

Maintains excellence in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other tasks as directed by Management.

Contributes to visual merchandising initiatives, including monthly store setups and area maintenance.

Customer Engagement

Exemplifies and advocates for the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.

Addresses customer inquiries promptly and effectively.

Facilitates a swift and efficient checkout process, remaining knowledgeable about policies regarding payments, promotions, returns, exchanges, security measures, and other operational procedures.

Encourages purchasing decisions at the register and meets add-on sales goals, including gift card promotions.

Enlists clients in the rewards program.

Builds and nurtures a loyal customer base through personalized service and wardrobe consultations.

Stays updated on current product fits and style offerings available in-store and online.

Maintains ongoing communication with clients through a customer book.

Operational Excellence

Assists in replenishment efforts to keep the store well-stocked and inviting.

Supports fulfillment processes.

Participates in visual merchandising tasks, including floor layouts, window displays, signage arrangements, etc., as instructed.

Helps maintain the boutique's cleanliness and organization.

Team Collaboration and Development

Encourages an inclusive and cooperative approach to problem-solving.

Seeks opportunities for personal growth and actively requests feedback.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Previous retail or sales experience is preferred.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Strong communication skills.

Exceptional customer service abilities.

Able to learn and adapt to technology provided by the company.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Capable of communicating effectively with customers, associates, and management.

Regular attendance is essential to ensure adequate coverage for meeting company objectives. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Constant walking/standing for a percentage of an 8-hour shift.

Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. for 1-33% of an 8-hour shift.

Frequent climbing for 34%-66% of an 8-hour shift.
