Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Insurance Account Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, educating customers about insurance options, and working with our agent to establish and meet marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options and develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals, including achieving mutually agreed upon marketing goals and experience in marketing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing them with exceptional service and support.

Requirements:

  • Sales experience, preferably in outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing.
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas.
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and listening.
  • Enthusiasm about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Ability to make presentations to potential customers.
  • Property and Casualty license (currently held) and Life and Health license (able to obtain).
