Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Capital Equipment Manager to join our team at The Robert E. Morris Company LLC in Dover, NH.
About the Role:
- This is a senior leadership position responsible for managing sales activities and driving business growth in the Northern New England territory.
- You will lead a team of capital sales engineers and technical center staff, providing guidance and support to ensure successful sales outcomes.
- A strong understanding of the manufacturing industry and experience with capital equipment sales processes are essential.
- Prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities, you will be able to analyze complex situations and make informed decisions to drive business success.
Responsibilities:
- Create annual business plans and sales strategies to penetrate new markets.
- Direct and coordinate sales activities to achieve/exceed sales targets for unit sales, gross margin dollars, regional builder market share, and new customer growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and vendors to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Possess and maintain an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of capital sales management experience (manufacturing industry preferred).
- Extensive experience in supplier relationship management and capital equipment sales processes.
- Experience working in Manufacturing or Capital Sales Distribution environment (preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
- General understanding of accounting including profit and loss.

- A competitive starting salary of $110,000 - $140,000 per year, based on experience.
