We are seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to enhance our team. The Project Coordinator will oversee the planning, scheduling, and administration of assigned projects, ensuring that all functional, financial, and timeline objectives are met. This role will act as the main liaison for customer-related inquiries, manage contractual obligations, and ensure efficient cash flow through timely invoicing and collections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of all assigned projects in alignment with the technical specifications outlined in contracts.
  • Plan and manage project schedules to meet or exceed the company's financial goals.
  • Ensure that all project executions are conducted professionally, ethically, and in accordance with the High Philosophy.
  • Act as the primary communicator for the company with clients and their representatives regarding construction project matters.
  • Issue invoices promptly for goods and services rendered.
  • Manage cash collection processes for payments due on assigned projects.
  • Facilitate the flow of project information between clients and subcontractors, suppliers, and engineers.
  • Coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure compliance with delivery schedules.
  • Prepare for on-site work by coordinating logistics and access with clients.
  • Conduct site visits as necessary to monitor project status and anticipate any unforeseen conditions.
  • Represent the company at job site meetings as required.
  • Document all communications and project updates effectively through logs, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
  • Provide regular updates to management regarding project status and any significant risks or financial issues.
  • Collaborate with clients and erectors to determine the sequence of operations and align with production schedules.
  • Plan and schedule the work of various disciplines necessary for the successful completion of projects.
  • Review all work performed by the company and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met and manage any necessary remediation.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts of project costs within the company's enterprise system.
  • Identify scope changes as defined in contract documents and submit necessary documentation for compensation.
  • Support the company in claims analysis and defense against claims.
  • Work with estimating and purchasing teams to negotiate and finalize procurement of goods and services.
  • Review subcontractor invoices for accuracy and compliance before recommending payment.
  • Coordinate the efforts of Assistant Project Managers on assigned projects.

  • Participate in production planning meetings to enhance understanding of project requirements.

  • Serve on company committees as appointed and undertake special assignments as directed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Project Management is required.
  • Experience in precast concrete production or commercial construction is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is required.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
