Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to assist our Project Manager and/or Superintendent in the administration, management, and coordination of construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in project estimating, including preparing Invitation to Bids, sending plans to subcontractors, and providing addendas
  • Manage project records and maintain productive working relationships with staff, subcontractors, and Owner representatives
  • Help track and control quality and costs, and assist with the review of project proposals
  • Prepare monthly pay applications, coordinate owner, architect, and contractor meetings, and procure building permits
  • Assist with project start-up, including the creation of subcontractor documents, and review and distribute submittals and change order requests
  • Track submittals, RFIs, and schedules, and generate weekly meeting agendas and recording weekly meeting minutes
  • Assist the project team with closing out projects, including subcontractor warranties, O&Ms, and required forms, and completion of punch list items

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience
  • Proficient abilities in reading and interpreting plans and specifications
  • Experience preparing take-offs and estimates
  • Proficient in Microsoft software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Experience with Bluebeam a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and present self in a professional manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
