Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily audits and reconciliations of slot machine activity, generating insightful analyses on performance metrics.
  • Create detailed reports reflecting slot machine hold and performance, utilizing both actual and theoretical data.
  • Monitor and communicate any discrepancies or issues related to gaming machines to relevant departments.
  • Quickly identify and rectify patterns of invalid data, ensuring accurate adjustments are made during audits.
  • Ensure the accuracy of drop data and revenue reported through the slot system, adhering to established standards.
  • Compile and analyze financial data to prepare journal entries and document business transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of periodic financial statements and statistical reports in the required formats.
  • Support supervisors in reviewing casino audits, jackpots, and other financial transactions, preparing reports to substantiate findings.
  • Collaborate with department heads and compliance management during investigations.
  • Recommend improvements to current accounting procedures to enhance audit processes.
  • Audit documentation to substantiate financial transactions.
  • Develop and implement systems for general accounting and audit preparation, enhancing reporting accuracy.
  • Assist in the annual preparation and filing of necessary tax documents.
  • Utilize the uniform chart of accounts in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Maintain knowledge of gaming regulations and internal controls.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to responsible gaming practices.
  • Exhibit behaviors that align with the company's mission and values, ensuring ethical conduct in all operations.
  • Report any observations of illegal activities or internal violations promptly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field is required, along with two years of experience in an accounting or analytical role. Experience in casino accounting is highly preferred. This position may require working weekends and holidays.

Work Environment:

  • The role requires frequent standing, walking, and handling of materials, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • The work environment is dynamic, often fast-paced, and may involve exposure to noise and other casino-related factors.
  • Effective communication in English is essential for interacting with guests and fulfilling job responsibilities.
