Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

At Bell International Laboratories, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and talent management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, interview, and hire qualified candidates for open positions, collaborating with departmental managers to understand the skills and competencies required for each role.
  • Conduct background checks and employee eligibility verifications, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Administer and execute human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, and leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices, reviewing policies and practices to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, managers, and external partners.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and managers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex HR issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality, maintaining the trust and confidence of employees and management.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, with the ability to stay up-to-date on changes and developments in the field.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • At least 3 years of human resource management experience, with a proven track record of success in HR functions.
  • Fluent in Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce.
