Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team at Bish's RV, Inc. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing accounting data, producing financial reports and statements, and establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. Additionally, you will be responsible for daily, weekly, monthly, and year-end reconciliations, payroll and commission calculations, fixed asset activity, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, accounts payable/receivable and inventory management, and operations reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and review financial reports and statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and year-end reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Calculate payroll and commissions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage fixed assets to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Analyze revenue and expenditure variances to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and review operations reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:
  • Accounting/AR/AP experience (automotive dealership preferred but not required).
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance field.
  • Ability to direct and supervise.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid organizational and multitasking skills.
  • An awesome attitude with impeccable interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
