Job Summary

Verified First is seeking a skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing timely financial reports to management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable, reconciliations, and record keeping.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
  • Collaborate with the Accounts Payable Manager to ensure compliance with accounting, regulatory, and tax-related transactions and issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Two or more years of increasing responsibility in an accounting role with experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Sage Intacct and Salesforce software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
