Accounting Specialist

Verified First is seeking a skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing timely financial reports to management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable, reconciliations, and record keeping.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Collaborate with the Accounts Payable Manager to ensure compliance with accounting, regulatory, and tax-related transactions and issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Two or more years of increasing responsibility in an accounting role with experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct and Salesforce software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
