Patient Admission Specialist

About the Role:

This position involves coordinating and supporting the direct admission process of patients to Northwest Texas Healthcare System. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with various stakeholders, including admitting physicians, nursing staff, and business office personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Facilitate the admission process through effective communication and coordination
  2. Obtain and document physician admitting orders
  3. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions. A background in hospital clinical experience is essential, with typing/keyboard skills and computer experience also required.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • A competitive salary of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience
