Job Summary

As a Sales Director at Dimension Hospitality, you will be responsible for securing new volume accounts and growing positive relationships with existing clients. You will also be expected to assure positive recognition within the local community for the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

Solicit and negotiate contracted revenues from volume prospects that meet the hotel's business plan objectives.
Employ revenue management techniques to recommend corporate rate proposals.
Prepare and present Requests for Proposals to ensure both client and hotel receive a good value.
Prospect for new contract business using various methods, including phone calls, outside sales calls, and internet prospecting.
Develop and implement sales action plans to achieve business objectives.
Manage and maintain an accurate and up-to-date contact management system.
Negotiate and close contracts that meet the hotel's business plan objectives.
Internally communicate client requirements to ensure accurate information exchange between client and hotel staff.
Coordinate and participate in target market trade shows and sales blitzes.
Conduct competitive analysis and maintain competitor files to stay competitive.
Maintain good rapport with local civic groups and companies.

Requirements

Associates Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of hotel sales experience or equivalent industry experience.
Strong communication, presentation, organization, time management, and listening skills.
Ability to use analytical skills for measuring business potential and value to the hotel.

What We Offer

$45,000 - $50,000 annually
