Job Overview:

The Fleet Equipment Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of company equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

This role involves supervising designated mechanics, scheduling preventative maintenance, and providing emergency repairs as needed.

The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance for designated company equipment
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment as needed
  • Supervise the inspection and repair of designated company vehicles and equipment
  • Document work performed using system software programs
  • Ensure OSHA standards and company safety policies are always complied with

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet equipment maintenance
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficient with computer systems related to scheduling, inventory management, and implementation of preventative maintenance programs

What We Offer:

This union position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and certifications, along with benefits outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.
