Senior Fleet Maintenance Specialist

The Senior Fleet Maintenance Specialist with MYR Group will travel to project sites across designated service areas, supporting field teams. This role involves performing maintenance, preventive maintenance, and minor equipment repairs safely and professionally.
Responsibilities- Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of equipment
- Perform a full range of servicing and repairs on various types of fleet equipment, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and company schedules
- Identify mechanical problems visually or using computer diagnostic equipment
- Maintain records of time and materials used on each job, including the condition of the equipment and repairs performed
- Track information in computer software and ensure repair orders and weekly timesheets are complete and accurate
- Five years of experience in general heavy truck repair, automotive repair, or equipment repair; equivalent trade school/technical school time may be applied toward this requirement
- OR completed a vocational/technical school program or apprenticeship in vehicle and equipment repair and four years of experience
- Ability to operate company vehicles and equipment daily, with proper licensing
- Must be at least 18 years old
This union position offers competitive compensation and benefits detailed within the applicable collective bargaining agreement. The estimated salary for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and certifications.
