MRI Department Lead

We are seeking an experienced MRI Supervisor to lead our team of radiology professionals in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of the MRI department, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, safety, and imaging quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the MRI department.
- Ensure high-quality MRI imaging services by established protocols and standards.
- Schedule and coordinate staff to ensure optimal coverage and efficient workflow.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate MRI technologists, providing feedback and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment, ensuring proper functioning and timely maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines, including MRI safety and radiation protection.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of care.
- Stay updated on advancements in MRI technology and techniques.
- Minimum of three years of experience as an MRI technologist, with supervisory experience preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of MRI procedures, protocols, and safety standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MRI equipment and related software.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
- Required:
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI.
- Preferred:
- Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer (MRSO)
- Magnetic Resonance Safety Expert (MRSE)
