Job Description

Crown Texas INC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Wireman to lead our manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the work of assigned team employees, ensuring high-quality production and efficient workflow.
  • Address minor discipline problems with team members and refer more serious cases to the supervisor.
  • Collaborate with team members to discuss upcoming work assignments and delegate tasks based on their skills and experience.
  • Assist team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments.
  • Inspect work performed by team members and track and log workers' time, materials, and other resources used for inventory purposes.
  • Partner with the supervisor or production manager to resolve any issues that arise within the department.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Complete assemblies and sub-assemblies for manufacturing projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform work accurately.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety management.
  • Reading comprehension skills with the ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, and engineering diagrams.
  • Basic math skills to meet technical specifications and measurements.
  • Basic understanding of tools (e.g., tape measure, impact drill, etc.).

Experience/Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 4 years of experience in manufacturing, electrical wiring, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in effectively leading a team of employees.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing, bending, kneeling, and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 35 pounds at a time.
  • Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor.
