Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our Quick Service operations at Eataly North America. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of our QSR counters, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Oversee the QSR operations, including managing staff, inventory, and supplies to maximize profitability and efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team, including hiring, training, motivating, and evaluating staff to ensure excellent customer service and sales results.
  • Financial Management: Analyze and manage the financial performance of the QSR department, including COGS, labor costs, and sales growth.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive a consistent, high level of service, and resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve efficiency, and enhance the customer experience.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and requisition food, beverage, supplies, and equipment to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Employee Management: Assist with employee payroll, scheduling, and terminations as needed, and document and investigate employee incidents.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience: 6+ years of management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced quick service or counter service venue
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, leadership, motivational, and team-building skills; demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and business management skills; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and common retail Point of Sale systems
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience and knowledge in coffee, coffee production, and manual espresso machines; experience with Italian food products and wine
Working Conditions
  • Availability: Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Travel: Availability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting
