About the Job:

As a Cleaning Specialist at ABM Industries, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to clean and maintain buildings, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain buildings, including floors, walls, ceilings, and windows
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
  • Notify Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities

Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • No experience required and on-the-job training provided
  • No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Customer service experience
  • 1 year of similar work experience
