Role Summary: The Corporate Sales Representative will join the dynamic Corporates sales team within S&P Global's Market Intelligence division.

Team Dynamics: As a key player in our rapidly expanding sales team, you will engage with a diverse array of organizations that are at the forefront of innovation and industry transformation. Your role will vary from collaborating with emerging tech startups developing growth strategies to assisting established Fortune 500 companies in navigating their sustainability reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving new sales of SaaS solutions, data services, and sustainability reporting offerings to both new clients and select existing accounts. Your contributions will directly influence our growth trajectory.

• Collaborate closely with Sales Executives to uncover new business opportunities within your assigned territory.

• Schedule meetings with senior leaders of targeted organizations.

• Develop and implement sales campaigns and engage clients through events (e.g., conferences, dinners).

• Stay informed on industry trends and challenges to facilitate meaningful discussions.

• Lead and coordinate product demonstrations for prospective clients.

• Partner with senior sales personnel to negotiate terms and pricing of contracts.

• Oversee the contract execution process and facilitate the onboarding of new clients.

• Participate in strategic planning for key accounts alongside Sales Executives.

Compensation and Benefits:

For candidates in the United States, the anticipated base salary range for this position is $56,392 to $113,135. The final salary will be determined based on geographic location, experience, skills, and qualifications.

This position is also eligible for an annual incentive plan and additional benefits provided by S&P Global.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Proven experience in a sales or entrepreneurial capacity.

• Results-driven mindset with a competitive edge, capable of achieving revenue targets in a business development context.

• Interest in understanding client operations and offering consultative solutions to address their challenges.

• Experience in navigating complex situations, including objection handling and overcoming internal barriers.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, quick thinking, and confidence in public speaking.

Work Eligibility:

This position is limited to individuals with an indefinite right to work in the United States.
