About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Creative Director to lead our creative team in developing innovative and effective copy solutions for our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading concept development, translating creative direction into conceptual ideas, and managing a team of creative talent.

Responsibilities
  • Lead creative teams in the successful creation and production of copy solutions for assigned accounts
  • Follow creative direction of senior creative staff and account staff
  • Plan and direct many aspects of assigned projects, and serve as an integral member of the creative team
  • Accountable for managing a team of creative talent, and leading them in the development of creative work that is consistently sound, of excellent caliber, and acceptable to the client
  • Mentor and lead assigned creative staff, and be available to critique their work
  • Manage many internal details of assigned projects, including finding and/or choosing photographers, working and coordinating with production and account staff
  • Lead the effort to translate established creative direction into conceptual ideas
  • Participate as a creative team member in new-business development efforts
  • Work with appropriate account representative on all projects
Qualifications
  • Portfolio must include digital (social, mobile, web, CRM) work and campaign work
  • Must be conceptual/an idea person as well as a hands-on writer
  • Strong conceptual and hands-on writing skills, with a broad knowledge of digital experiences
  • FinTech experience a plus
  • Minimum 7+ years' experience
  • Solid knowledge of steps required in creative development process: provides guidance to achieve creative direction; gives timely and helpful coaching; and produces all work in a timely, cost-effective manner
  • Good presentation skills
  • Good people-management and coaching skills
  • Ability to solve problems using keen instincts and organizational experience
  • Proven mentoring, supervisory, and team-building skills

Compensation range: $98,500 - $154,500 annually. This is the pay range the company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
