About the Role

This position will be based in a manufacturing environment where you will be responsible for assembling new and/or replacement parts by operating intermediate machines and equipment to assemble complete units or complex subassemblies from blueprints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and operate production equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any deviations or quality defects.
  • Ensure compliance with production parameters and maintain equipment, work area, and facility based on 5s standards.
  • Support production processes and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Load and unload machines using proper handling equipment and operate equipment to highest production and quality standards.
  • Maintain all fluid levels of equipment and report malfunctions and safety issues to supervisor or maintenance as soon as possible.
  • Maintain quality standards by following proper inspection procedures and understand and adhere to current quality and control policies.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Detail-oriented and consistent with a strong ability to work on a team.
  • Ability to work independently, accurately, and precisely with interest in electrical engineering processes.
  • General experience in production processes and manual skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to follow instructions, safety rules, and regulations.
  • Basic shop math required (decimals, addition, subtraction, fractions) and ability to learn how to read basic blueprints.
