Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Operator to join our team at BorgWarner. As an Assembly Operator, you will be responsible for assembling new and/or replacement parts by operating intermediate machines and equipment to assemble complete units or complex subassemblies from blueprints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and operate production equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
  • Check equipment for proper functioning and report any deviations or quality defects to the supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with production parameters and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform general support within the production processes and maintain quality standards by following proper inspection procedures.
  • Load and unload machines using proper handling equipment and operate equipment to highest production and quality standards.
  • Maintain all fluid levels of equipment and report malfunctions and safety issues to the supervisor or maintenance team.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Detail-oriented and consistent with a strong focus on quality and safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic shop math skills required.
