Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Inspirations of Mount Washington. As a key member of our senior care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Administration: Administer or assist with the administration of medications to residents in a safe, accurate, and timely manner, in accordance with state regulations and company policies.
  • Resident Care: Provide physical and psychosocial care to residents, promoting dignity, choice, and individuality.
  • Documentation: Accurately document medications administered and resident care provided, in accordance with company policies.
  • Communication: Conduct change of shift reports with oncoming/outgoing shift personnel, and maintain open communication with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Security and Safety: Maintain the security of medication carts and narcotic keys, and conduct narcotic counts at the beginning and end of every shift.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Satisfactory completion of state-required education/certificates/testing in relation to medication aides, and completion of the Company Medication Aide Skills Competency Checklist.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
  • Physical Demands: Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases, with the ability to lift 40 pounds.
  • Experience: Experience in Assisted Living preferred.
