Aspire Nursing and Rehab of Washington is seeking Certified Medication Technicians (CMTs) to join our team in providing both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care services.
ROLE SUMMARY: Under the supervision of a licensed nursing professional, the CMT is responsible for administering prescribed medications and performing other nursing duties as permitted by state regulations. The CMT is dedicated to delivering high-quality nursing care while ensuring positive clinical outcomes and satisfaction for both patients and their families. This role adheres to the standards of practice established by the certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Assist in various patient care activities and provide essential non-professional services to meet the personal needs and comfort of patients.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure effective patient care delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of a 60-hour medication aide training program from an accredited institution.
- Current certification as a nurse aide in the state of Iowa.
