Job Summary

Regency Memory Care is seeking an experienced Medication Aide to provide high-quality care to our residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering medications, supporting daily activities, and maintaining a safe and secure environment that promotes independence, dignity, and respect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents as prescribed by medical staff
  • Support daily activities and provide assistance with daily living tasks
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents
  • Monitor and ensure the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of residents
  • Assist with daily meal service and housekeeping duties as needed
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Current Kentucky Medication Aide Certification
  • Kentucky Food Handler card
  • CPR certification, approved by the American Heart Association (preferred)
Physical Requirements

This position requires:

  • Walking, standing, and performing care duties and housekeeping for the duration of the work schedule
  • Lifting ranges from 10 to 50 pounds on a regular/consistent basis
  • Frequent bending, reaching, stretching, kneeling, squatting, and twisting
Preferred Experience
  • One to two years of long-term care or dementia care experience
  • Full-time, permanent position
