Longo Lexus Flat Bed Driver

At Penske Motor Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flat Bed Driver to join our team at Longo Lexus. As a Flat Bed Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up vehicles for both Sales and Service departments.
Key Responsibilities:- Picks up and delivers vehicles for both Sales and Service departments.
- Loads and unloads vehicles on flatbed/tow truck.
- Arrives to scheduled appointments on a timely manner and maintains communication with guests regarding any changes to scheduled time.
- Maintains constant communication with the dispatcher on schedule and appointments.
- Inspects and maintains flat bed/tow truck vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes in order to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
- Performs emergency repairs such as changing tires or installing light bulbs, fuses, tire chains, and spark plugs.
- Obeys traffic laws and follows established traffic and transportation procedures.
- Must follow all company safety policies and practices.
- Assists the service department, as needed.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of one (1) year experience with driving a tow truck desired.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles; determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it; pay attention to detail; read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language.
- Must have a valid drivers license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
