Job Summary

This is a mechanical HVAC service and repair position. We will equip you with the required tools to perform your job at the highest standard.

Responsibilities
  • Probationary employees shall perform mechanical equipment service and all other work coming under the labor agreement assigned by the employer
  • Troubleshoot, perform maintenance, and resolve equipment issues
  • Responds to basic calls for service
  • Keeps JCI, contractors, and the customer informed of job progress and issues as needed
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent or currently enrolled in an HVAC certificate program
  • Familiarity with HVAC equipment (residential or light commercial)
  • The ability to perform general building maintenance
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • This position requires a current driver's license
  • Willingness to supplement on-the-job training
Preferred Qualifications
  • EPA Refrigeration certification a plus
