About the Role:

The Banquet Support - Wait Staff will provide exceptional customer service to all patrons. This includes greeting and seating customers, presenting menus, and serving food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will be able to exceed customer expectations, provide attentive service, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat customers in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Present menus and make recommendations to customers.
  • Serve food and beverages to customers, using proper etiquette and table settings.
  • Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure accurate and timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Accept payment and operate the cash register, handling customer transactions with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment, and assist in clearing and resetting tables.
  • May be responsible for carving meat, fish, or poultry, and preparing flaming dishes and desserts.
  • May assist with stocking food inventory and maintaining a clean and organized storage area.
  • Attend all allergy and foodborne illness in-service training, and comply with all Sodexo HACCP policies and procedures.
  • Report all accidents and injuries in a timely manner, and participate in regular safety meetings and training programs.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • 0 to 1 year related experience.
