Role Summary

We are seeking a qualified candidate with a background in desktop support to become a vital part of our Tier-1 support team. This individual will be tasked with addressing various technical issues, which includes:

  • Analyzing problems and performing effective troubleshooting.
  • Assessing the severity of issues and escalating them to the appropriate teams.
  • Maintaining communication with stakeholders and providing real-time updates throughout the resolution process.
Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Implementing, initiating, and troubleshooting proprietary software and hardware.
  • Collaborating with management during software updates and providing on-the-spot training and assistance.
  • Coordinating with all management levels before, during, and after incidents.
  • Documenting key issues and tracking incidents for analysis and trending.
  • Delivering daily written updates on the status of current tickets and ongoing projects.

This position primarily focuses on desktop support, helpdesk inquiries, printer issues, and some application troubleshooting. Occasional travel to other sites may be required for network setup, project work, and additional support tasks.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Desktop Support with verified references.
  • Proven ability to support professional end users in a corporate environment.
  • Basic desktop skills, including adding print drivers and setting up peripherals.
