Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Clinical Operations: Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the unit, including practice standards, staffing, payroll, budgets, fiscal management, and quality improvement.
  • Supervise Staff: Supervise a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Monitor Quality and Utilization: Monitor the quality of service and utilization standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans to enhance patient care.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Providers: Work with healthcare providers outside of the unit to achieve optimal patient care across the continuum.
  • Investigate and Resolve Concerns: Investigate and resolve patient and family member concerns regarding patient care.
Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of nursing experience, including experience as a charge nurse, preceptor, or quality improvement champion.
  • Licensure: Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ACLS Certification: ACLS certification strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing: Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
