Medical Director Physician Clinic

Concentra is seeking a highly skilled Medical Director Physician Clinic to lead our patient care team in Walnut Creek, CA. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Director of Medical Operations to ensure consistency of clinical care delivery and clinician onboarding.
  • Develop and lead medical management and quality improvement programs.
  • Collaborate with the Director Team to identify opportunities to improve clinical quality, workflows, and patient experience.
  • Mentor and train future clinical leaders and newly hired clinicians.
  • Supervise, evaluate, coach, and develop staff to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employers, payers, referral sources, networks, and local communities to drive market growth.
Requirements:
  • Board Certified Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Occupational Medicine.
  • Current unrestricted medical license in the state of jurisdiction.
  • Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
  • Medical degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two years' directly applicable experience, including relevant clinical and supervisory experience.
  • Two years' experience in managed care and physician management.

This role requires access to confidential and critical information, requiring ongoing discretion and secure information management.

The annual base compensation rate for this position is in the range of $281,000.00 to $350,000.00, plus a Director Stipend, depending on job-related factors. Additional incentive bonuses are available on a quarterly and monthly basis.
