Position Overview


OBJECTIVE


Utilize manufacturing tools and equipment while adhering to established protocols to efficiently and safely produce high-quality products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Key duties include, but are not limited to:

- Assist in the assembly and/or production of Elements products according to specifications.

- Conduct quality inspections in line with established quality standards and procedures.

- Complete necessary documentation and paperwork.

- Perform tasks such as sealing, sleeving, bagging, and boxing products.

- Follow instructions and perform tasks as directed by Leads and Supervisors.

- Meet production targets and maintain a pace comparable to machine operators.

- Keep work areas clean and safe.

- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the IPF Division's product offerings.

- Adhere to the 5S methodology.


TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT

The tools utilized in this role include, but are not limited to:

- Scissors

- Sandpaper

- Staple gun

- Sealing gun

- Tape measure (standard & metric)

- Box cutter

- Pallet jack

- Pneumatic scissors

SUPERVISORY ROLE

This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

This is an entry-level position, and job-specific training will be provided as necessary.

Minimum qualifications include, but are not limited to:

- Three to six months of experience in a production assembly environment is preferred.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents such as work instructions, safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.

- Competence in basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

- Ability to read a standard tape measure.

- Capability to solve practical problems and address various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.

- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule formats.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- High School Diploma and/or GED.

- Relevant experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
