Position: Multicraft Technician

Location: Mineral Wells, WV

Shift: 6PM - 6AM (2x2x3 schedule)

• Execute a variety of tasks to install and maintain production machinery and mechanical systems.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical failures, including pneumatic and hydraulic issues, and perform necessary repairs.
• Utilize precision measuring tools and hand tools for equipment installation and alignment.
• Interpret mechanical schematics and technical data during equipment installation and repairs.
• Conduct minor machine work and utilize welding equipment as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work areas.
• Perform additional duties to enhance operational success, including equipment tooling and changeovers.
• Diagnose electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical issues in a manufacturing setting.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and specifications.
• Troubleshoot high-voltage systems up to 480 volts and low-voltage control circuits.
• Test equipment functionality using digital multi-meters and amp meters.
• Analyze and repair electro-mechanical equipment, including sensors and process control devices.
• Complete other assigned tasks as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory and basic ohm's law.
• Mechanical proficiency, including experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to use hand tools for electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, along with decision-making abilities.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in thermoforming and extrusion environments is preferred.
• Welding experience is advantageous.
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical devices and systems.

Salary: $21.07 per hour
