Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diverse tasks to install and maintain production machinery and mechanical equipment.
  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical failures, including pneumatic and hydraulic issues, and execute necessary repairs.
  • Utilize precision measuring tools, hand tools, and testing instruments for equipment installation and alignment.
  • Interpret mechanical prints and technical specifications during equipment installation and repairs.
  • Repair components requiring minor machining and operate welding equipment as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work areas.
  • Contribute to operational success by performing related duties, including equipment tooling and changeovers.
  • Diagnose electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical issues in a manufacturing setting.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot high-voltage systems (up to 480 volts 3-phase) and low-voltage control circuits.
  • Test equipment operation using digital multi-meters and amp meters.
  • Analyze and repair electro-mechanical equipment, including processors, sensors, and drives.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of electrical theory and basic ohm's law.
  • Mechanical expertise, particularly with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficient in using hand tools for electrical and mechanical repairs.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, decision-making abilities, and mathematical knowledge.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in thermoforming and extrusion environments is preferred.
  • Welding experience is a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of mechanical devices and systems.

Salary: $21.07 per hour
