Job Description

CIS Industries LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inside Sales Engineer to support our sales team and contribute to the company's growth. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and competitive pricing of various jobs CIS engages in.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the software estimating database, including updating price lists, parts database, and estimating kit.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Sales to streamline estimating time, increase accuracy, and decrease engineering/programming time.
  • Coordinate bidding activity for the week with the sales team.
  • Maintain accuracy of CRM database for COBI on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on follow-up and sales forecasting via CRM.
  • Provide periodic updates to the Sales Manager and Sales Team on quota, sales forecast, and vendor activity.
  • Prepare cost estimates utilizing estimating software and detailed scope of work proposals for Building Automation Systems as directed by Sales Management and the sales team.
  • Prepare booking packages to ensure timely completion of jobs and smooth transition to Operations.
  • Pursue 'Prior Approvals' for jobs where CIS is not specified as equal.
  • Assist the sales team with preparation of RFPs as directed.

Requirements

  • College Degree or Tech School Degree.
  • Extensive knowledge of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems, control systems, building automation, electrical systems, energy management, fire alarm and smoke removal systems, engineering, installation, and construction procedures.
  • Excellent computer skills, specifically with Microsoft applications.
  • Complete thorough and detailed work with accuracy and consistency.
  • Ability to make decisions, dispose of problems, and complete thoroughly detailed work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel to include department and project managers, engineers, sales personnel, and service and control technicians.
  • Valid Arkansas/Tennessee driver's license.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to accept responsibility and accountability.
