The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the dispensary, ensuring compliance with state and local laws, as well as company standards. This role provides support to all Terrabis associates, including scheduling, training, and policy updates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Culture
    • Support the General Manager in creating a culture that prioritizes employee development and customer service
    • Drive sales through product education and maintaining cannabis industry knowledge
  • Team Management
    • Build teams in accordance with our mission, vision, and goals
    • Develop and coach Terrabis Leads to help elevate their skills and expertise
  • Inventory Management
    • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring an assortment of product
    • Communicate inventory action items with the General Manager
  • Store Operations
    • Work with General Manager to ensure retail store operations run smoothly, properly, and in compliance with applicable rules and regulations
    • Complete and delegate tasks assigned during scheduled shift, including cleaning and maintenance
  • Quality Control
    • Assist General Manager in maintaining healthy inventory management processes, including deliveries and cycle counts
    • Investigate product discrepancies and maintain a culture of compliance
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Cannabis experience preferred
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or management role in a retail setting required, preference for specialty retail
  • Inventory control experience required
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to use standard office equipment and computer software
Additional Requirements
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Must pass all required background checks
  • Must possess valid driver's license or state ID
  • Remain compliant with all legal and company regulations for working in the industry
