Job Title: Medical Secretary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join our team at Associated Physicians Of WNY P.C. As a Medical Secretary, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify patient demographics and insurance eligibility, process authorization forms, and collect co-payments.
  • Check in and check out patients, schedule appointments, and provide necessary paperwork.
  • Answer phones, route communication, and document patient interactions in the EMR system.
  • Coordinate referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers.
Requirements:
  • Strong customer service skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Previous office experience desired.
