OPERATIONS MANAGER

Key Responsibilities
The selected Operations Manager will oversee daily operational activities within the disposal sector, ensuring that growth initiatives are executed within budget while adhering to customer and environmental health and safety standards.
Core Functions Include:
- Fostering a robust safety culture across the service line.
- Managing P&L, balance sheets, and annual budgets for the service line.
- Ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Collaborating with administrative teams to guarantee timely and accurate information flow regarding transactions.
- Supporting regional sales initiatives with pertinent information.
- Coordinating with management to ensure facilities meet operational needs.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients at the regional level.
- Communicating company strategies and objectives to service line personnel.
- Providing detailed weekly reports on operations and financial performance.
- Working collaboratively with Service Line VPs to maximize market reach and profitability.
- Overseeing personnel planning and development within the service line.

Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following:
- Proficient computer skills and technical knowledge.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities for both technical and mechanical issues.
- Solid mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
- Familiarity with common software applications (e.g., Excel, Word).
- Valid driver's license and eligibility to operate a company vehicle.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various conditions.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
- Ability to effectively communicate expectations to management and clients.
- Exceptional customer service skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with attention to detail.
- Capacity to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Proficiency in multitasking and managing shifting priorities.
